Football

Here are a few random pictures of our little football prodigy. Ok, well not really. We were over at Scott's parents having Sunday dinner and Cooper was out back playing while Scott was barbecuing. Scott managed to capture a few shots of him in action. He's the next Tom Brady.

Chicken Little

These were taken a few days before Halloween when we were trying Cooper's costume on him. (I don't have any pics from Halloween night because I forgot the camera. Horrible mom, I know, but I like to blame it on pregnancy memory loss) We bought it at the beginning of October and last week he seemed to grow over night, so we thought we would try it on to make sure it still fit and luckily it did. This particular night he was overly tired and really not feeling his costume, hence the annoyed/whiny look on his face. Unfortunately these are the best pics we have and I had to post them so that my mom would stop sending me death threats.

Extreme Makeover Home Edition

Ty Pennington and his crew came to our small town of Corvallis, Oregon back in July to build a home for an adorable little girl who is battling cancer for the second time. Scott and I had the opportunity to volunteer. We picked up trash and handed out water to workers. It was very glamorous. It was interesting to see behind the scenes of a show I've been watching since it started. It airs this Sunday, October 7th. Tune in everyone!

1st Birthday!!!

Today was Coopers first birthday. I am amazed how fast time has flown. I'm still having nightmares from his delivery! Anyway, we had a little party for him on Friday with some family and friends and here are the pics from that night.

He wasn't too sure what he was supposed to do with the cake until we gave him a fork. We thought he would love to pick it apart with his hands, but apparently not. He didn't really start getting into it until he had his fill of cake with his fork.

Who Needs Toys.........

when there are pots and pans to play with? Like most kids I'm sure, Cooper likes to play in the kitchen cupboards rather than playing with his mounds of toys.

A Night At The Park...........

So we went to the park on Monday night to watch Scotts softball game. Cooper was having fun walking around and exploring. He was walking on the grass when he lost his footing and went head first onto the cement. I just about fainted when I saw the blood (yes, I am a wuss, but that is why I married a paramedic). Of course to Scott it was no big deal. It was "just a little blood". He didn't even want to clean it off. I know that there will be worse, I'm just hoping Scott will be around for it. (Yes, his right eye is as big as his left and no, he didn't hit it when he fell. He just did something funky when he smiled for the camera. I had to make that clear....lol)

What a Stud!

So the purpose of this blog really is to keep friends and family upated on Cooper. Since we are far away from everyone, this is the best way. Here is a picture from this last Sunday. Scott got him dressed for church and when he came into the room it hit me just how fast he is growing up. He looked like a little man. It was too cute!

Utah Trip

We were in Utah two weeks ago to attend the sealing of Scotts youngest brother, T.J and his wife Molly. It was amazing. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple (love it!) and had their reception at The Hunstman Cancer Institute which overlooks the Salt Lake Valley. It was absolutely gorgeous. He is the last of Scotts siblings to get married (there are 8).

The Beginning

Since this is my first post I figured I would start at the beginning. This was taken when Cooper was six weeks old. He had his first photo shoot at our local pediatric clinic. He was chosen to be in a brochure advertising lactation services. Yes, he began his modeling career at a very young age.
